I know you weren't quoting me, but because of what you said, I do think I'm going to flip the pinch bolt nut. I also do have adjustable control arms set at 3/8" longer than stock. I need to find a way to flex it out
2 inch bump stops?

I was running 2 but changed it to 3 since my driveshaft was slightly rubbing the exhaust shield
I don't think you will ever see this issue as you will bottom out your bumps prior.

It seems lots of people are doing the Synergy track bar even on stock heights. Also doing Mopar LCA's on stock height to get more caster to make it drive better.

I hope you are right.

I don't blame them. the difference between an aftermarket track bar and the stock one is crazy. Then rubicons having less caster than the sport or sahara is just stupid. I know its cost savings for FCA but still

Yep that's exactly what I am trying to accomplish. I just wish wish there were more options to protect the drain bolt, which is the only reason why I purchased the diff cover. I wasn't really interested in the rancho version. I figured since I had planned to do the track bar and mount brace once I intend to lift it, I could do it now while I wait so it's a little less needed parts once I pull the trigger. Honestly I knew going into it that there would be a slight chance it would work out well, and higher chance it would rub like most people. I will continue to run it through its paces on regular street driving. Next week I plan on swapping the LCA's on it and press my luck further.

I was one of them!!

I think this sets up the aftermarket folks for stuff to be used not as intended and therefore some contact issues.

Which LCA - the Mopar's or the Synergy?

I just received this Diff in from the memorial day sale (Thanks Metalcloak!)

How much fluid and of what type? 2018 Rubicon, live in Phoenix and do some towing. TIA

Hope I don't have clearance issues with my Rock Krawler TB. I am listed 2.5" so should be fine but I do have Mopar LCA's

Glad to hear that you got it. You will want to use stock capacity of the dealer recommended fluid.

The manual doesn't specify so can you point me in the right direction?
I have an early '18 and have heard Jeep updated the recommended fluid.

Some people say use 80w90, others are saying 75w140 if towing which I am.

Here is all I can find in the manual.

"We recommend you use Mopar Gear & Axle Lubricant (SAE 75W85)(API GL-5)"

Yeah, I know that they made a change that was more for the rear than the front. Realistically using what is in the manual should not cause any issues.

From what i have found on here is:
Front 2.18 Pints/1.03L of 75W-90
Rear 3.06 Pints/1.45L of 75W-140
this might be for a 2019 though

I personally put in 1.3 quarts of 75W-110 Amsoil severe gear oil in my front.
