Thanks to everyone for their help so far. I'm feeling more confident that the JLU will be a great replacement for the XJ. So I think I have most of the big decisions made:

Sarge Green JLU Sahara
A/T tires / gray rims
Dual top
Standard side steps
Plastic door sill guards
Black cloth seats
Trailer Tow package
8.4-inch radio and premium audio package
LED package
3.6L V6 eTorque engine
8-speed automatic
Anti-spin Diff
Selec-Trac

The last big one is whether to go with the black or body-color hard top. Leaning toward body-color, but they both look good on the Sarge green.
Don't rule out looking at Rubicons either. You get the much more capable D44 front axle, lockers and the better suspension. I have a White rubicon with painted fenders and painted hard top. I'm not 100% why this is the case, but locally I am currently seeing some Sahara's listed at $5K more than what I paid for my rubicon.

The Jeep.com site is a general options guide to find 2020s still on dealer lots.

Read the order guide:
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...ngler-unlimited-jlu-4-door-order-guide.52367/

And the order, build, transport guide:
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...er-build-tracking-and-delivery-process.54344/
Thanks! Your order guide is super helpful, and I'm definitely going to follow it as I go through the process.

If I'm reading the 2021 order sheet right, it looks like most of the options for the Sahara are the same for 2021 as they are on the website for 2020, except maybe with the addition of an optional Off-road Camera (cool!).

If anyone has any details about what the Cargo Group w/ Trail Rail includes, I'd appreciate it. I guess it's just two adjustable rails with a mat in between? Anything else?

My Sahara came with the Cargo Management rail option. It consists of a series of aluminum tracks built into the cargo floor and across the tailgate, with a number of movable tie-downs.

It looks very pretty, but I still have to use it.

Looks like it facilitates mounting the optional Mopar tailgate table, among other things.

I went from a '89 2 door XJ -> '99 4 door Xj ->'99 WJ to finally a '20 JLUR.

The JL drives just like any of the other Jeeps, but its so much nicer in every regard. Heated steering wheel?! AC that works?!!! Quiet ride and nice stereo???!!!?? What planet am I on?
You may start to read people having issues with the steering, I believe most of the complaints about the JL steering are people coming from other non solid axle vehicles. The JL drives like all my Jeeps, my dads F350, plus the E350 Uhaul I drove this past weekend.

I want to say the cargo capacity of the JL is a little smaller than my old WJ, but that may be me being worried about a new vehicle vs shoving everything into the WJ.

Of all the options, I would look at getting the LED headlights, tow package and aux switches.
After driving Jeeps with crappy lights for almost 20 years, the new LEDs are AMAZING!

I keep going back and forth on this. But honestly I think what I'd use most often is the tailgate table, and that doesn't come with it. The standard cargo tie downs are probably sufficient for my needs.
