Hi all,

As always you guys are awesome and everyone’s comments are appreciated.

My Jeep Wrangler JL Sahara has a 1.5 inch spacer lift on it (2 inch in the front/1.5 inch in the rear).

I am looking to buy some Fox IFP 2.0 shocks. However, should I go with the ones for 0-1.5 inch of lift or for the ones with 2-3 inches of lift? Both have the same travel but FOX’s website says the 2-3 inch ones are bit longe when extended (but only minimally so).

Would it be possible to just get the ones for 2-3 inches of lift given that my front spacer is 2 inches and back is 1.5 inches? I don’t want to buy new shocks when I decide to go a little bit higher than my current lift.

Thanks as always!

I'm running a Teraflex 1.5" 4 door Spacer lift on my 2 Door (2" front, 1.5" rear -to offset the weight of my winch). I called Fox with when I was looking to buy shocks. They told me that the 0-1.5" lift range is based on a Rubicon. So, with a Sport or Sahara, it would most likely be good up to 2-2.25" of lift.

Id get the longer ones, if you have any hint of going higher id even get the longer ones and just put a bit more bump if its even needed. Then youll be okay regardless. The 3.5-4” ones
