Been fighting different steering issues since day one with my 2021 JLUR.

Mod list:
-12 offset 17x9 wheels with 37” tires
Synergy Drag Link
Synergy Tie Rod
Metalcloak track bars
Fox ATS Steering Stabilizer
Dynatrac Ball joints
Rancho Track bar bracket
Clayton Control arms
MOPAR lift kit
Apex Steering Boost kit

Tried all the normal fixes to calm down the wandering. Tire pressures, alignment (Caster 6.1 and .20 Toe in) and different settings on the Fox Stabilizer (from 17-24)

The roads here in Idaho are not the greatest. Each lane has impressions (crown) where the tires travel which causes the Jeep to float/wander around inside the lane. The other day I went through my normal check list of what could be the culprit and everything seemed to be within normal specs. I decided to drop the setting on the Fox ATS to it’s lowest setting and now the wandering is gone! The Jeep is performing the way it should since everything is in spec.

Just thought I’d throw this out there for anyone else dealing with wandering steering.

Just purchased the Fox ATS Steering Stabilizer as well. Just curious if you think that the initial higher setting that was initially set (17-24) was possibly causing the issue you had? What seems to be a good setting that is working for you now. Example: 1, 2, 3 right clockwise clicks out on the adjuster screw. Nice jeep by the way!

Thanks!

The Jeep would wander on the roads here with a setting of 17-24. I’ve been driving with it set at 1 and it doesn’t wander anymore.

(counter clockwise all the way)

My ATS seems sensitive as well. I initially set it at 12/13 thinking midway would be a good start. I didn’t like that so I dialed it down to 0/1 and have been working my way back up 2 clicks at a time. I’m back at 9 and feeling more vibration in the steering and like it wants to DW more going over bumps. Im gonna keep going to see if my initial impression of 12/13 was correct.
