Fog light interchangeability

Someone with a ‘14 JK is looking to buy one of my sets of fogs from my JL.

according to quake, this set fits his jk:

Would it be safe to assume that the figs out of a rubi plastic bumper would fit?

From experience, I’ve only had compatibility issues with sport jl. The bracket has a recessed mount that isn’t standard among other trims. Try looking for a photo of the mounts on the jk fog light, and the mounts on yours. Unless, of course, somebody has already tried what you’re trying to do. That would be simplest.

JK fog lights are compatible with JL Sahara and plastic JL Rubicon bumpers, as well as most aftermarket bumpers. They all have the same 4-hole mounting configuration.

The JL Rubicon metal bumper has a 2-hole mount, and the JL Sport bumper has a 3-hole mount.
