i am having my dealer order and install the Mopar LED headlights on my Sport S.

Now my dilemma is the fog lights.

I can:

1. Keep the halogen fog lights
2. Install the diode dynamics lights in the stock housings for $40
3. Install Morimoto LED lights for $200
4. Have the Mopar LED lights installed for about $300

Any advice?

I was lucky enough to find a take off JLUR steel bumper that included the LED fogs for a good price. You could look around for one of those.

Then I managed to find a pair of OEM LED headlights. Pure luck/timing. Just installed those today.

I decided to grab some diode dynamic switchbacks for the fenders as I haven't seen any OEM available yet. So now I ordered those.

Still trying to figure out if my headlights are working properly. Normal works great but I don't know how to get the halos working - may need programming - and something seems strange with the high beams.

Has anyone else put the OEM LEDs on their Sport or Sport S?

I did not think that you could install the LED headlamps unless it’s a four wire system to get the halos to work

The Mopar kit has a harness that i hope will enable the halos.

I haven’t decided. I’m not getting anything right now. Gonna focus on the headlights.

From my limited research the Sahara has the four wires but the Sport and below wont support the halo feature but maybe someone with a lot more knowledge than me can chime in and verify this.

The reality is no one knows because no one has
gotten the Mopar kit. The only person that has tried used take-offs without the harness.

Well let me know as I’m curious, so what is the OEM package, if it’s a simple swap of plug and play I would think one could just pop the grill off and then just plug in the LEDS, I have lo9ked at them but the Mopar ones are pretty pricey.

Sorry i said it backwards. I will correct my post. I meant the Mopar kit. People have been trying takeoffs or ordering the OEM parts but there is a part in the a Mopar catalog with headlights and harness for converting Halogen to LED. What remains to be seen is whether the wiring for the Sport halogens is different than the Rubi/Sahara halogens and what the harness will do with the halos on the Sport.

I believe ordering the OEM Mopar LEDS that they come with the correct harness but whether it will plug into the halogen harness is the part I’m not sure about

I am waiting for the halogen to LED conversion kit for the sport to come out which will be an OEM conversion unless someone comes out with the same size headlight. The OEM LED Halo option for the Sahara, and Rubi will not work unless you can figure out how to power the halos, they require the 4 wire which from my understanding is also for the daytime running lights. I have also heard that the low beams don't come on with the high beams. Almost pulled the trigger on buying take-offs until i read others having issues. I did install the LED conversion tail lights and they are awesome and are plug and play. Took all of 10 minutes to install got those from allmoparparts. this site is a bit cheaper than buy directly from FCA
