Just got a call from my dealer trying to get mi in for this FRMS. Will it effect my warranty if I decline? What is it they actually do? Is it just a money maker scheme or does it have any Value to it? I pretty much maintain my cars myself. What is your opinion? Thanks!

What did they say they were checking? Is it time for oil change, tire rotation, etc... If you do it yourself keep records in case of warranty claim. You can look online and find the recommended service at specific mileage. ✌

What is your mileage. there is no service other than the standard Oil change until 20,000 miles per the owners manual maintenance schedule.

Jeep seems to cancel warranties if you breathe on it the wrong way, so it's definitely a possibility.
If you value your time, you can often diagnose and upgrade the problem before they fix it with less downtime… Short of an engine popping, I would be hard pressed to stress myself over an issue with them. I don’t feel Jeep Cares and the warranty I found to be a tremendous pain in the ass (at least dealing with quality control issues).

only thing you are about due for would be an oil change & tire rotation , and that is covered under jeep wave, so it should be no charge. just make sure to remind them it is 5 quarts.

Did that already myself, so nothing else is there of value for me. Thanks for the input!

I have an non-dealer do my service that I don't do. And so far no one has said squat for small warranty issues. I keep all my records though so they can see if they open the glovebox what was done.

My buddy's new Jeep was delivered with only 1/2 the differentials full and thank God he caught it, it could have been bad.

It is nothing but a scam to get money from you. Just follow your owners manual, for regular scheduled recommended maintenance.
