I had a thing with this one girl who had been a friend for a few years. We had gotten close but we weren’t “Facebook official” yet and one day the conversation of guns came up. Her dad was in the military so I didn’t think anything was going to be a problem. I was wrong . She became irritated and said that there would never be guns in her house because they were too dangerous to have around kids. I explained to her that I concealed because I wanted to have the tool in case of an emergency and that I’ve always been more of a proactive protector. She wasn’t having it. Needless to say we haven’t talked much after that :cwl:

Yeah, sorry to hear it didn't work out well for you. I'm glad my wife was open to learn about firearms and she's pretty proficient with one now.

I've got too many guns, but these are two of my favorites... Bergara LRP in .308 with Vortex Viper PST II 5-25x50, and a Sig MCX Rattler in 300 blackout with a little Vortex Spitfire. 300 BO with a 5" barrel is LOUD. So fun to shoot.

My Walther P99AS 9mm was the only one that survived the downsizing of my collection. I just bought the SIG Sauer P226 Legion 9mm, I'm slowly building back up. But right now my focus is customizing my JL

I had something similar happen to me, loaded all my firearms on a boat and the dang thing sunk in 87’ of water. Lost them all.
