I've gone in and out of the knife hobby over a lot of years timespan. I have quite a few folding knives that I carry, somewhat listed in the EDC knife thread, and some other folding knives that I don't currently carry or use. At some points in the past I collected custom handmade fixed blade hunting knives. I almost never do any hunting anymore so I have no intention of using any of these knives, I just look at them.

I don't actually make knives, but I occasionally buy blade blanks or skeleton knives and put my own wood scales on them. I've done about a dozen of them. Right now I have a couple of kitchen knife blade blanks waiting for me to put scales on them.

Does that fit in the mopar rear cargo tub liner?
Sorry for the delay. No it won't fit, close. Maybe if it was the only thing, or was on the bottom.
I carry this in a scabbard, hence it would be behind me in some fashion.

I bet nobody has one of these in their collection. It will shoot small potatoes, assorted veggies, small dog tennis balls, and those indoor knee hockey foam balls.

Did you make that? What's the propellant? Range with a tennis ball? How many launches per tank?

It was more about making it than what it does. We were in a pandemic lockdown and I needed to make something. It's all machined and fabricated parts. I designed it and fabricated it over a period of a couple months. The design is tongue in cheek assault-ghostbuster style. It operates on compressed air. At around 150 psi, it would launch a sub size (1 7/8") tennis ball about 150 yards or a small potato about the same. It's a single shot on a charge. Lots of fun for a while, but like I said, I made it to do something. ... and get a good grade on it. It was a request from the neighbors down the street. Specifically, the wife asked if I could make something like this for her husband's gift from her. I showed her progress along the way as the design evolved on the fly. She had some ideas as well (she was a Hollywood movie studio costume designer on some major movies) which I purposely incorporated to make her part of the the gift to her husband.

M1A - haven't fired it in over a year with the ammo being so damn expensive and all.
I may convert this into a part time hunting rifle.

Can you get a deer-legal magazine for those? They shoot nice...I toted one of its older brothers for awhile back in the 60s.
