Looks good. Do you get to shoot it often?
I honestly don’t shoot it very often, I just wanted to get one to have and pass to my son but then he’s going to get the Smith Corona 1903A3 as well

another beauty. I've never had the opportunity to shoot one of those. My Dad has a Lee Enfield No 4 rifle that Grandpa had. Not sure specifically why he had it, as he would have carried a Garand or an M1 Carbine when he was in Europe, but maybe he just liked it for what it is. A great rifle.

Dang a P22 with a suppressor?! What kind of sound does it make, if at all :cwl: Would you even technically need hearing protection?
I purchased the same thing when they did that it all came in a kit. My oldest is left dominant so when I was teaching them how to shoot and firearms safety that's the weapon I bought.

I have fired them (no, Sean, it was NOT my issue weapon). In good condition they are scary accurate. I found the weight and balance much less comfy than the M-14 that WAS my issue weapon.

BTW...some of the early troops overseas in Europe did have Springfields. I've seen photos from 1942-43 of of US troops with them in Britain.

Most of Grandpa's combat action was from D-day and afterwords, so I'm more inclined to say he had the M1 vs the 1903.

I'd still like a chance to shoot one. I do know a guy that has a 1903A4, and eventually will convince him to let me shoot it. Haven't been shooting at his place since Covid hit though.

The absolute best handgun I’ve ever shot. I’m plinking 12” steel at 100 yards.
Nice! I've always found that 5.7 round interesting. I've never gotten around to getting something that actually shoots it though.

Not the best picture, but this is by far my favorite in my collection:
Jeep Wrangler JL Firearm and knife collectors IMG_1967.JPG

My dad got this brand new in the box back as a gift back in 1982, and he gave it to me years ago. Israeli Uzi 9mm Model B. Still has the original paperwork/application and instructions to make it full-auto lol. Extremely accurate as hell with the iron sights. It's not fun to clean, though, but it's never given me any problems no matter how dirty it gets!

I've got a Smith Corona '03 as well. It looks like your is in nicer condition than mine. Mine came from my grandfather.

Ever run into Dan Southard at Gator Farm Tactical in AZ? We worked together for five years back in the 70s.
