Hey all,

My poor jeep recently got hit on the side which miraculously ended only in a minor amounts of damage, my rear fender flare is toast though. Body shops near me are booked 3 months out so I am just taking the insurance check and doing the repairs myself. does anyone have recommendations on some upgraded fender flares for the JL? Theres alot of options out there but I don't know who makes a quality set that is going to last though the pinstripe and branch abuse I put my jeep through.

I love my KBD body kits fenders. They are a flexible polyurethane but, you will want to upgrade your liners to take advantage of the added clearance.

We have the Rugged Ridge MaxTerrains. They are almost identical to the Bushwackers (the RR's come with the BW instructions). Quality is OK. Fit and finish isn't great around the lights, had some QC issues with one of the brackets (had to drill out missing holes).

I’ve really been considering these! Do you have any pics? My only concern is how much mud and dirt the tires will sling with the reduced coverage

You are correct about the coverage. Much dirtier than before but, a trade I gladly welcome for the added benefits for off roading.

Those look great! I definably think that I will be going with those. Between the crazy expensive metal fenders and the kinda expensive brittle plastic fenders that are on the market right now the KBD fenders seem like the best priced and most durable

The dirtiness is definably a consideration of mine, I live in nevada so I don't get a ton of snow but it's enough that I need to take all the road spray into consideration. Seems to me though its kinda pointless to worry about though the second you throw a lift and lower offset rims the stock fenders don't really do much anway.

It will take a few weeks to get them once you order. It’s worth the wait.
