Somebody needs to get a pair of those things and scan them so people with 3D printers can make them on demand. When mind broke I was able to repair it using some of the "plastic welding" techniques found on the interwebz. Soldering iron, steel wool, lighter, zip ties, lots of patience...

Are your fenders chopped? I found a set of Rubi fenders, did the chop and no longer needed those supports.
yea the brackets arent 100% necessary but some people dont like the floppy fenders or think they are gonna break. I can see the painted version maybe start to crack the paint but very unlikely.

That's fair. I've never noticed them flopping around but I do have the AAL fender bracket in the front that seems to keep it pretty stable.

Yea mine doesnt flop either unless you push on it, but I can see some people being paranoid. Like all the people freaking out about dragging under parts in that stock rubi on cliffhanger thread lol

When I chopped my painted fenders I did modify and keep the bracket because @Roky who’s one of the cool kids and @Headbarcode who‘s cool but seems to be MIA both did. I probably do lots of unnecessary things. But my Jeep is fast…like exceptionally fast I’m told and I was worried about aerodynamics and fender flutter. Now I feel like you’re implying my Jeep isn’t fast.

The mistake I made was sticking my head out the window and watched the fender flop around like a fish outta water at 75-80 mph….And, with my OCD, I had to shut that shit down……. Put a brace in, don’t put a brace in, I don’t care, I’ll back you either way…. 🥴
