Here is my story/RANT !
I am in Ontario, Canada. Ordered Nov 20,2021. As of today April 28,2022. I am still in D status. Being a Canadian customer SUCKS !! Jeep Chat does not entertain inquiries from Canada, privacy laws. FCA Canada Customer Service says speak to your dealer. Dealer has very little info. I see many builds so similar to mine being delivered everywhere to Canadian and US customers. Am I missing something here?? JLUR, Firecracker Red, 6 Spd, dual top, coloured fender flares, steel bumper, tow pkg, cold group pkg, safety group, LED pkg, Black Leather. Gorilla Glass. I feel like a damn mushroom! You all know how mushrooms are grown!! In the dark and fed BS ! Starting to second guess whether this is a good purchase. FCA simply sucks.

I edited for you. ;)

You know how they came up with the name for Canada? They just put a bunch of letters in a hat and pulled them out....

Go buy a Toyota... good luck with that. They don't even do orders. Buying a Toyota is like buying an original Ford, you can have any color you want as long as it's black (or whatever they get in 6 months after you put in a deposit).

It's frustrating for sure but lots of units take 4 months to deliver. Mine did. Yours is more complicated because it will have to go over the border. [shrug] Go buy a Canadian branded vehicle.

Wow. You must be part owner of FCA to edit the way you did. Hmm.

Being an American customer isn‘t much better. I’m also pretty sure I am disliked by a certain Kate…

Makes me wonder. Will jeep stop taking orders going forward. I've heard of a few mfgs that already will not. Heck, in my business I can't get an eta on a product availability until they see a purchase order.

I'm not defending jeep.. it's just a global problem right now. Fun times!

Last fall we wanted to test drive a hyundai tucson-hybrid but dealers never had one. We were told we could order one (non refundable $500 deposit) with a 6+ month estimated delivery time. And if one came In that a customer ordered we could look at it. Not drive or sit in it.
About 2 months ago I noticed a local dealer had a hyundia tucson on the lot. Not the hybrid, but at least we could see one. Took it for a test drive. It was fine but wasn't the car for us. If we wanted the hybrid version they still said it was 6 to 8 months out.
Long story short, 2 weeks later we found a wrangler saraha 4xe on a dealer lot that my wife loved.

You can always order a Bronco...

By the time you get it in 2024, they might even have hard tops available.

MY22 production didn't start until late December, so that first month doesn't count.

I ordered 15 Oct and got it 18 Apr and couldn't be happier--well worth the wait (and there aren't any other options anyway).

I had at least one D-to-D1 regress.

My dealer sent me screenshots of the status any time I asked.

First order of business, it’s Stellantis. Blame the Eurotrash now.

Jeep chat will have nothing of value to contribute anyway. Be glad you’re not wasting time talking with them.

Dealers AFAIK have access to as much information as anyone outside the plant, but they’re often motivated to not be transparent. The dealer I ordered from lied to me and I bought elsewhere.

Lastly, I know it’s popular on all these enthusiast sites to bag on the competition. But a lot of what’s passed around is inaccurate, based on my experience. I shopped them recently. It’s true you can’t “order” a Toyota, but you can choose the options you want and get the next 4Runner configured that way that arrives in port. Which would be generally 1-2 weeks based on my research.
Broncos are in stock at local dealers in FL. I’ve seen and driven them. Multiple trim levels. But almost all rag tops. Ford has some of the same BS going on as Jeep, in that people are still waiting for ordered units while others are built and delivered.

Most cars today, you cannot get a lot of options on. I haven't done a lot of car shopping lately, but Jeep has a lot more available options then any other make I have ever owned. But my Jeep was the first vehicle I ever ordered from the factory.

Yeah, you're not missing much by not talking to Jeep Chat. Even when they could give me an ETA, it was never met. I'm almost 2 months beyond the original ETA. They just stopped giving me an ETA a few weeks ago. I believe it was before the system was hacked too. I just checked in with them and the system is still down.

What the hell. Nothing personal no matter where your from. I do get it. On one hand your excited cause you have a bad ass jeep on order. On the other hand it sucks waiting. I only waited back in Aug. Of 2021 for 2 months for a Willy's sport and it still sucked a little.

Truth is though if you are living on this planet right now you should know what's going on if your not getting it than shame on you. Everything thing is Fffed up right now. I have checked this and FCA is actually doing a better job than most. Hope it comes in soon.

If your still miserable I guess go buy a Prius.

Ordered October and FCA chat has not gotten off of it’s in scheduling . Just sent this email to my salesperson.
Hey Pete,
This request for an update is your fault. We got an email about you guys being open May 1st and looking At some of the cars listed they say in transit including some Jeeps. Please, tell me ours is in transit as well as we are now past 6 months and my impatience continues. There has been some joking on the forums that people with October orders not finished yet, should proably start looking to order 2023s and that it is the tub liners holding things up. As always, sorry for the request for updates but no more donuts until we get the Jeep.

Thanks

Yeah, it sucks. I'm sorry man......but once it starts getting built, everything moves pretty quickly. Hang in there - it's worth the wait!!
