It does not need to be active at time of order. Some dealerships will tell you of the program after you order. You just need to wait 30 days after becoming a TL member before you can purchase the Jeep.

Just got my window sticker on Friday and signed up for TL yesterday. Now I'm hoping my Jeep takes at least 30 days to make it to the dealer.

Window sticker = MSRP. Your POC should look like this below. The FFP = friends & family price which is ~ 1% below invoice. The same you should get with the Affiliate pricing.

Btw - your trade should be negotiated as a separate transaction and have no bearing on the price of the car you’re ordering/buying.

Folks read up on the Affiliate Rewards right on the VCA Affiliate Rewards website. It answers all of your questions. The dealer is required to show you a POC with invoice price if they are participating in the program.

Chapman will not do the additional 1 percent through affiliate. They posted on this forum as to why, but 5 percent below invoice is still great pricing

You can use the spreadsheets found in the thread below to select your model and options, and it will tabulate both MSRP and invoice pricing (and can further calculate percentage off invoice and add on sales tax). If you don't have Excel to open the spreadsheet, you can use Open Office or whatever Google's free online app is (Sheets?)..

The spreadsheet works like charm. Thank you! Looks like my dealer is planning on charging me full MSRP.
$FWP: 47,233, MSRP: 49,605 including destination fee. Affiliates 1% is 46,760. That's $2845 profit for the dealer. There's another dealer about an hour away, but i wanted to keep it local. I gave them $1000 down to order it. Please advise.

I don't see the wrangler on the fca affiliates list. Just the gladiator and a couple other not worth mentioning. And if anyone actually thinks there are dealers with wrangler inventory overflowing off the lots, they are living under a rock. Only wranglers on lots that are not sold are by dealers with huge markups. My dealer gave me a decent discount on my 21 Rubicon 2 door order but would not go below msrp on the 392 I have on order. Even said jeep is not building them for dealer lot inventory, special sold orders only. Not sure if that is true but it sure looks like it. ..
