This is great news. Already getting 5% below invoice on my ordered JLUR-XR. Another 1% sweetens the deal.
Wait wait wait... are you saying this is above and beyond the negotiated price??

I just did a little research and found out that my company is partnered with FCA Affiliate Rewards. I signed up with the my company code and now I have a control number to use for a discount. I’ve emailed my dealer (Jim Butler in Linn MO) to see if I can apply it for another point off sale price.

Oh. Have they changed the terms from previous years? Hmm...
IDK, More than likely I got someone who didn't know what they were talking about. But she did say it went into effect today so dealers should be getting word of this soon.

I got 2% below invoice. I was going to go to Gupton but Fort Collins Jeep gave me a fair guaranteed trade value plus the 2% below invoice and I don't have to fly anywhere and drive a Jeep home.

Yes. It's an extra 1% that a dealer gets reimbursed for, so if you're working with a cooperative dealer, that should get passed on to your deal.

Exactly. Any decent dealer would pass it on.

I emailed Kent at Peterson to see if this would further discount my current order with them; I'll update once I hear back.

1% off negotiated purchase price? ....or below invoice regardless of the deal?

Oh, you have to work for a special company. I do not qualify. UI thought this was the pay to join a club thing...

You can do it both ways. Join tread lightly for $100 if you don’t get a control # via your employer.

Should have saved you a LOT more than that, unless you have a really awesome dealer to begin with.
The difference between my local dealer and going with Gupton and Tread Lightly was about an $8,000 difference. The whole reason folks fly in from all over the Country to buy from them.
Amazing how many folks still confuse below INVOICE and below MSRP. Those two are thousands apart.
I wish I had your dealer local to me. Would save me a trip.

As I said Tread Lightly saved me ~$800 by spending $100. Total saving through Gupton was around $7500 off MSRP. ?
