I've been running Wildpeak AT3W 17" for the last 3 years and love them. They aren't perfect in all cases, but they have been at least very good in all and excellent at most.
We have now purchased a 4xe with 20" wheels and realistically, this will spend even less time off-road than our prior Jeep.
I keep seeing good pricing on the Rubitreks and understand they are basically like Wildpeaks but slightly more geared toward the street in the center tread pattern and compound. These things are all good for my intended use.
However, it's hard to deny my personal experience with AT3W and the almost universal praise they receive as a great all-arounder. Also, for whatever reason the Rubitreks don't have many reviews online or forum posts (I've seen what is already out there). I've now also had 2 tire shop guys tell me the Rubitreks are very good vs AT3W...but then they also got basic facts wrong about them like their tread warranty was lower (not true) and their treads are wider apart (not true). Thus, I think they might be up-selling me.
So, if anyone has experience not already posted would love to hear your thoughts. TIA!
