Trying to decide between these 2 shock. Its for a 18 JLU with 2.5 spacer lift. Will mostly be on road with the occasional off road adventure. Does anyone have any input between the 2?

The only thing that the Falcon 1.1 and Fox 2.0 are going have in common is that they're both a rebuildable monotube shock.

Here's a neat video that will help explain them better

Thank you for the reply! How would you compare the ride of the 1.1 vs the 2.1?

I would recommend the fox2.0
That is what I run with my dynatrac Endurosport lift and it’s great. Everyone says falcons are too stiff so it’s a preference thing but I love the fox2.0s, especially when they’re tuned for the specific ride.

Great question. The Falcon 2.1's valving is more aggressively tuned for higher dampening rates, where as the Falcon 1.1's are tuned on the less aggressive side for more on road compliancy. The 2.1's will ride a bit firmer as a result.

I noticed the new 2.1 are able to be set between soft and firm. is the soft setting still a firmer feel then the 1.1?

According to one of our main Falcon techs, the 1.1's are slightly softer than the 2.1's in the SP2 "soft" mode.

What are the compressed/extended lengths for the 1.1s?

I see the 1.1 are listed for 2-3.5" of lift. I currently have 2.5" front and 1.5" rear spacers, running the stock shocks with extenders. If I remove the extenders, will these work or will they be too long in the rear?

The front come in at 27.5 extended 17.9 compressed. The rear's come in at 29 extended and 18.7 compressed.

That shouldn't be an issue, past the 1.5 inches of lift in the rear you'll be okay.
