Just purchased a 2024 Rubicon X with the factory Warn winch. Was wanting to swap out the silver hook for something that looks better. Emailed Warn about one of there epic wench hooks in black and was told they dont make anything that fits the Jeep Warn. Has anyone swapped the hook out and if so what did you go with? The factory fairlead has a post that the hook fits over when its not being used. I didnt know if this was the issue with fitment

Looks, Factor 55. I’m sure you can swap anything into the thimble

So is spelling. I am sorry Mrs. Jones. I did not realized my 3rd grade english teacher had a Jeep. Thats so cool. You want to spank me like you did back in the day for making an error
We won’t judge. Whatever you and your third grade teacher are into is not our business.

Unless she’s hot and took advantage of you, then we need to call the cops.

Warn Epic winch hooks are gray. Not sure if it will work on your hook post. Factor 55 Ultrahook can be secured against the fairlead, but it might be possible to secure it to the Jeep's post, it comes in black.

I've never seen one in person, but couldn't you just take the thimble/post off the fairlead and use a shorter bolt to secure the fairlead.
Then you should be able to use any hook device you wanted with no issues.

Warn Epic winch hooks are powder coated in their argent gray color (same as all Epic line products), so no black if that was the issue. Otherwise, not sure if the hook dimensions will work on Jeep's winch hook post, but I would be surprised if it did not. Factor 55's popular/premium Ultrahook is normally secured tight against the fairlead, so no need to use the post. However, it might be possible to secure it to the Jeep's post, but in any case it is available in black.

I was looking at the Warn hook and emailed warn and they said it wouldn't fit. Didn't give me any reason why. So I was hoping some one here and given it a shot. I agree I don't see why it wouldn't

That's kinda what I was thinking but was hoping someone had tried it already and I didn't have to be the one to experiment lol
