No, that $1,295 is coming no matter what and it's intended purpose is basically what you're asking. It makes it a flat rate whether you buy in California or Toledo, OH.

I really wish they had this option, I'm even ok to pay the fee still, but I would like to be able to go up there and have a tour and then pickup my new Jeep. Especially if they setup some kind of expert training / info where you could take delivery and have them raise it up to go over everything underneath and then pick up any mopar add ons directly there. I know that BMW has a pretty nice program in Germany and same with Volvo in Sweden.

And you can even pay extra to pick up your Corvette in Bowling Green, KY.

Wish it was on Wranglers too...

Thanks! That sucks tho.
My thought exactly! If i live in Toledo and the factory is just down the road and a Jeep dealer right across the street but they still going to charge me $1200 for delivering it there, i would throw up‍♂

I asked the Jeep Dealer Guy that and he said, no way, no how. I know the destination charge is an industry standard requirement but i would like the experience of picking up my customed built Jeep, test it on their obstacle course and get a free Jeep hat.
