I was thinking less connections is better. How woukd you hook it to the factory tow point?
If your thinking is less connections is better, wouldn't the mindset be to remove any extra hooks or implements such as this?

The only thing better would be a safety thimble, Im just not a fan of splicing and it sticking out do much

The only thing better would be a safety thimble, Im just not a fan of splicing and it sticking out do much
Splicing isn't hard and would be an extremely useful skill to have on the trail if a line parts. It's well worth the time to take to learn how and supplies are simple; a bic pen, electrical tape, and a good pair of scissors.

You can also order the puck from Masterpull and remove all extra crap from your line to make it fit even more flush than the 55 stuff. Just a thought.

Interesting, I like the puck idea. Ill go to you tube and see some splicing videos
