Fabric dashboard

I have a 2019 2 door Wrangle Sport S and stopped yesterday at dealer to look at a 2 door Willy's 2025 they had on the lot. It is a nice vehicle but the dash looks like it is fabric. That was a turn off for me and how in the heck do you keep it clean from the dust? Do all the 2025 and 2026 models have this type of dash? How about the Rubicon's dash. It might me a little thing but I sure like the dash on my 2019 better.

IT sure looked like a textured fabric to me. It is not the top of the dash but the vertical surface that above the glove box. Maybe I am wrong but it is not the smooth surface that is in the 2019 Sport S that I have.

IT looked different to me than this one. Maybe it was the color that made me think it was fabric it was a light grey. I will have to go back and take another look and will take a photo of it.

No doubt, it has a fabric look to it. Mine is the Rubicon trim. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Thanks. The dealer I stopped at only had one vehicle on the lot a Willys Jeep. Maybe other trim levels are different. I will look at another other models and see what they are like. I like your Rubicon dash color. So maybe it was the color that made me think it was fabric.

I had a 2024 Sport S. Dash above the glove box was definitely fabric. It was a light color and "looked" OK. It didn't look OK after I was rear ended with a full coffee cup in my hand. The coffee stains on the fabric were ugly!!

It has that vehicle version of scotchguard on it.

Interesting. I have a 2019 Sport S and that part of the dash is a hard surface that is easy to dust and clean.
