I have a 2019 2 door Wrangle Sport S and stopped yesterday at dealer to look at a 2 door Willy's 2025 they had on the lot. It is a nice vehicle but the dash looks like it is fabric. That was a turn off for me and how in the heck do you keep it clean from the dust? Do all the 2025 and 2026 models have this type of dash? How about the Rubicon's dash. It might me a little thing but I sure like the dash on my 2019 better.
2025 Willys….. soft fabric dash. No plastic coating. Another brilliant jeep move.

I looked casually to see if there is an aftermarket to swap it out ASAP. Fabric was a really, really dumb idea.

Jeeps are the only vehicles that you buy brand new, that immediately need $2,000, in basic aftermarket stuff, to make the car how it should have come from the factory to begin with.

Not sure if this is model specific. Nothing says durable off-roader, like light colored soft fabric exposed panels. Not sure if it’s a deal breaker though. Part of the brand‘s core values is to F-up basic, minor details.

This is exaclty the same dash I saw on the 2025 Willys that I looked at. Thanks for posting and confirming. I'm not ready to buy yet and will probably order one when I do pull the trigger. Now I need to look at the other models if I can find them to compare. Thanks for posting.

Still, the Willys comes with some nice goodies…. And there’s deals to be had for 2025s.

I have a 2025 and the dash looks like fabric, but its sort of rubber coated. The dust seems to come off just fine.

I‘d swap out for this instead in a heartbeat. Looks way better and more functional.

Interesting. I have a 2019 Sport S and that part of the dash is a hard surface that is easy to dust and clean.
Pretty sure the dash panels were redesigned when they went to a standard 12" screen, which I believe was 2024. I have the same fabric that the other user posted on his 2025 Willys.

I agree and there are some deals to be had right now. I wonder if there are dash covers being made that might work.

Thanks for the info. I'm am looking at a 2 door but there are very few on the lots where I live. I would assume the interiors are the same with the 4 doors so I will look at them as well.

If not yet, I’d bet they are coming as more coffee and mud happens. I just picked mine up a few weeks ago. I was looking for another Sport, til someone on here suggested the Willys. I looked around and the dealers here were looking to unload 2025s at this point.

The Willys comes like a cross between the Sport and Rubicon. Better axles, rear locker, higher fenders, better tires and wheels, LED front lights package, rock rails. I thought it was worth it for less basic modding.

2025 Willys have deals at this point. Build your own 2026…. not so much.

If I was building a Willys, I’d upgrade to hard top, auto transmission, and upgrade the stereo and call it a day. I’m a 2door fan.

mine looks like that too. Incredibly stupid. I sprayed scotch guard hoping that helps. The waterproof spray one. I spray on my canvas vans and it helps them last a bit longer. And that's exactly how that stupid dash looks like. Like my vans that are designed to last no more than 6 months.

I own a 2024 Willys. It has this same dash. It _looks_ okay but is entirely impractical and runs contrary to the spirit of a Jeep Wrangler. My Willys also has fabric seats but they are a darker grey.

You can order a factory dash replacement from another trim (i.e. Sahara, Rubicon, 392) and swap it. I think they are $300-400. I’m planning to do the swap next year.

I also agree about some of the minor stuff Jeep flubs which would be so easy to fix at the design/factory level for minimal cost.

Just be careful with dash covers for the JL in general. The passenger airbag comes out from there (that's why they're split / that seam runs down the center), and you don't want a piece of plastic rocketing towards your passenger's face if it's deployed.

Fabric dash? Oh no that's not gonna look good long term. But sounds like some like it...

I have a 2025 Willy’s and the dash seems to be fine and hold up. I spent the all day today and yesterday on some dusty trails in Moab and it seems fine to me.

I would have preferred a black plastic one or a red plastic one to match the paint on my jeep. That being said I am not going to do anything to change it or worry about it until it starts to look bad.

if it never looks bad then I will never worry about it.
