So I picked up my New Willys and immediately noticed two extra bolts in the back where the door and windshield bolts go. And yes, the door and windshield bolts are installed. Are these bolts meant for anything specifically? Are they purposefully left there as extras?

Or somebody else is saying "You should take that back for warranty. It's a $60k vehicle you shouldn't have to put up with that shoddy workmanship" ... LOL

You really need to ask this question after buying a bucket of bolts?

I’d keep them, when something comes loose you’ll know where they belong.

Those look like steel bumper wing bolts. I bet if you look you'll find their homes 😉

Those deff ARE NOT spare bolts for anything that is suppose to be taken off. They have that red thread locker on them meaning that once they are installed they should not be replaced unless repairs or replacements are being done. I do not know where they are from but yea.

Thanks. I went out and checked. I have the three part steel Rubicon bumper and I currently have the wings removed. All of the bolts appear to be there.

Yeah, those look too short to be the door hinge bolts. Any the door hinge bolts shouldn't have that lock patch on the threads since they're meant to be removed.

Funny I have the exact same two bolts sitting in my rear cup holder. They have been there for a year since I picked up my Jeep. I figured maybe they were two extra bolts for the seats that someone left but who knows lol

They look exactly like the bolts that attach the seat fram to floor.
I just lifted my seat and these bolts look just the same.
This! Are they size 50 torx? Check your 8 seat bolts.
