Getting the sliders in place to start welding. The center body mount absolutely needs ground down flat on the outer edges in order for the slider to fit.

One important thing to know is that this set-up WILL WORK with Artec Belly Skids with no modifications at all. Simply bolt the sliders in place underneath the skids. I was very pleased to see this would work. I was going to cut the slider to fit around the skid mount locations, but I didn't need to do that at all.

@Artec

Here's a couple pics and a video. Give it a bit for HD quality to load.

Both sides are welded on now. Super easy install. All of the welds are accessible and don’t interfere with any maintenance on the Jeep that you would need to do. The trans. crossmember bolts are fully accessible. Super happy with these.

I have been looking at those EVO skids since they came out, they look great.
Later down the road when I go long arm, these are the ticket since they are long arm friendly.

Nice job on the install and thanks for posting!

They slide right on without any issues with this EVO long arm I have. Looking at them, I don't really see an issue with really any long arm.

Appreciate it, man. You're welcome. It's a short and sweet post. Not much to painting and lining things up to melt them on, but still wanted to share.

Very much appreciated, Jay. Tons of weekends sacrificed to get this far. Lol. All worth it, of course.

Outstanding finish! If you get a chance, try an angle grinder with a flapper disk instead of that palm sander.
I just want to get through the mill scale. Angle grinder takes off too much material.
I use this clean-n-strip angle grinder disks to remove mill scale, they do not dig into the metal and leave a clean surface ready for paint, weld... they are clones of the 3M Clean-N-Strip disks.. but man... each 3M disk is $25 !!! LOL.. ... You can get a 10 pack clone for $34 at spAmazon.. LOL
