this is probably true. But therapists are expensive. I think that I would rather buy a lift kit. Maybe then people would wave!
I see what’s happening, you look out the window and think:
  • No mountains, no snow; instead it’s concrete, smog, congestion and anonymity everywhere. How can I justify to my better half that we need to spend $$$ in mods?
  • Answer: A lift and 35” will make us insta-cool!

SOOOOOOOO, I find this post somewhat comical and relatable. I was in Houston for a week back in July and had 2019 JLU Sport S for my rental (honestly, it was the best part of my trip). I noticed Jeeps EVERYWHERE while I was there and waved as frequently as possible, yet rarely got any waves back. It doesn't bother me because I've been dealing with JK/JKU yuppies in my area for over 10 years that rarely ever wave. Honestly, its only been in the past 3-4 years that the JK population has started to accept the wave in my area (central MD). I believe that its due to the JK platform aging to the point where it has become affordable to even the more basic jeep faithful and/or the Jeep snobs have begun to finally accept the JK platform as a Jeep.

Ok, I’m driving to Baytown just to be waved at by friendly Baytownians.
You can head to the Clear Lake area as well. Adding mods do seem to help and is always great advice!

I wouldn't consider moving over this. They will hate you there too
See, that’s the problem. Too much hate everywhere. Maybe I’ll mod my Jeep with them angry bird grills, at least I’ll draw out some visceral hatred.

Everyone waves at me in my 2005 LJRU and nobody does when I drive the 2020 JLRU. I think it is because the JLRU is still stock. I bothers me so much, that I went out and spent $8k on mods so that I will be accepted.

it only takes $8k to be accepted and have friends? I was thinking a whole lot more than that. Seems like a bargain.
