2022 Rubicon two-door….. I Just installed a Teraflex long arm lift over a week ago. Still have the stock Rubicon 33” tires on it. Today the engine light came on after a week of driving it. What to do next besides take it to the dealer which I dread! Can I take it to a automobile store like AutoZone and use their reader tool to figure it out or what do you suggest? Thank you for your advice.

I certainly would want to know for myself what's going on (and if I can fix it or if not, I can have an intelligent, informed conversation about it) before talking to a dealer (and they blame your mods without even looking at it).

I have the Blue Driver OBD scan tool and it's worth every penny.

Just checked Amazon and its proximately $120 which I don’t have no concerns about. But will the taser programmer do the same also? Thanks.

You have a long arm kit and 33s?

Get a cheap Bluetooth scanner off Amazon and use one of a 100 different code readers. Or, save yourself some more time and get a reccomended one from here https://jscan-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ and then use JScan to read and clear codes. It's also a powerful tool for other things you'll need in the future. Eventually you'll need a SGW cable but not for clearing codes.

Finished installing the long arm a week ago and my Bead locks are on back order until next week. The wheels are taking approximately 8 weeks total to get. Had 38” tires in the garage now for about a month…..

You can generally read trouble codes (as short human readable messages) directly from the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) on your instrument cluster. No external tools necessary. Just hit the up (or down) button on the left side of your steering wheel until you come across the 'Stored Messages' screen.

Thank you for your help, if I understand this correctly it’s suggesting something about my catalytic converter….. I did remove two O2 sensors ( for the lift kit )and reinstall them but everything went Pretty good and I did drive it for a week.

Most emissions DTCs take at least two drive cycles to trigger the MIL; I would start with what's changed recently (check your O₂ sensors--are they clean, undamaged? Are their connectors clean, undamaged?)

Can you see which codes (Pxxxx) you're getting?
