Hi! New here and hoping I’m in the right place. Is there a way to get rid of the emergency alerts (lane closed ahead; emergency vehicle approaching: etc) that pop up? This is my third Jeep (this one is an ‘24 Willys) and the first time I’ve had this. They wouldn’t be so bad if they A) weren’t so freaking LOUD! They make me jump every time! B) were actually correct - I’ve had them pop up maybe 25 times and have actually been accurate exactly twice. C) they didn’t completely lock up my spotify half the time - after the alert interupts the music and I acknowledge it, my music looks like it’s still playing, the time is moving forward, but there’s no longer any sound until I stop and restart the vehicle. I would LOVE to be able to turn off these useless notifications! Any help?

my 2024 jlur recently started doing this but so far the alerts have been accurate every time..including LEO up ahead, accident up ahead, emergency vehicle up ahead road debris up ahead.. all have been accurate. I don't get a loud alert just normal alert and pop on my screen.

If you have music playing via like Bluetooth and turned up, the alerts play at an ungodly loud volume. I hate them and think theyre more dangerous than no alert.

Making the driver jump with a loud alert, then having a notification over your navigation that requires you to look down is a massive distraction.

As far as I know, there's no way to remove it (yet) with obd Jscan or tazer. There's been a few posts here about it.

That’s weird, I wonder why yours are so accurate and mine are garbage?

Yes, thank you! It’s so dangerous! It makes me jump every time, but especially if I was listening to a podcast or audiobook. Scaring me and making me look around wildly isn’t helpful at all. Sorry for posting a question that’s already been apparently asked. Hopefully there will be an easier fix for it in the future (though not before it causes an accident, I’m sure…).
