Been looking everywhere in the UConnect setting but can’t find how to turn off the emergency alert. Any knows where it’s located?
I’m in Phila and keep on getting Severe Weather Alert for the NJ coast, it’s getting annoying.

Lol, Seems like it. I’m a gun owner so I can’t ever move to NJ unfortunately.
Maybe I should buy a beach house in NJ so at least the alert will be useful

Not on a Jeep but should be close. I can’t tell because I don’t have my Jeep yet to check it.

A Red Flag Warning means that out of control outdoor fires are extremely likely. This occurs when RH is extremely low, and winds are high. If those conditions are just right, a "fire weather" alert is issued. Normally local fire departments will ban outdoor fires for the duration of these warnings. Especially useful information for Jeepers who enjoy camping.

Follow the video, so far it seems to work. No more alerts. Thanks

Did it since last Friday, didn’t get any alert since then but maybe there was no alert. Have to wait and see.
I did the same thing and it popped up with weather alerts instantly. I didnt have a city picked for weather alerts either.

To me this is by FAR one of the most frustrating things that should have an extremely simple fix. If anything its a driving hazard to keep having to take my eyes off the road to hit the big X to close the weather alerts from a million miles away. @JeepCares Please tell us you all are working on a simple fix for this. Weather alerts can and should be useful things but there needs to be more room for customization.

I agree. It's ridiculous that you can't customize this for a specific area. Most annoying thing on my Jeep. I spent a half hour going through the setup menus to turn it off but no luck.

Mine keeps alerting for Toledo, but it seems all they have there is fog and wind. Super annoying...

It would be nice if it simply used your location for the alerts. I mean it will get the weather for your current location so why not alerts?
