Turning off/customizing weather pop ups?

Got several "high wind alerts" last night driving home. While useful, they were ~25-35 miles away from me. Is there a way to customize them to turn them off?

Nope. Called around and supposedly, you'd have to cancel your XM Guardian subscription. Funny thing is I recently let my subscription to both Sirius and XM Guardian expire and I still get them. The UConnect software is such poor design that there's no way to disable them not at least make the alerts less obtrusive.

Get a Tazer. It lets you turn them off.
