I am debating between potting my axle sensors, or running an eLocker harness to a switch. The harnesses are two wires and a connector for $80. Anyone know the connector so I can just make my own harnesses?

Do you have a Tazer JL Mini to disable front and rear lockers when you run separate harnesses to separate switchs? If you get a Tazer Z Locker OEM for both axles it deletes the locker sensors from the system and you can run the lockers just as you do now with the factory switches with no modifications.

I have the Tazer. Do I need two of those harnesses?

You would need one for each axle. If you use the Z Locker OEM you would not need to disable anything with the Tazer. It just makes it nicer because you can still use factory locker switches and not have to go to the aux switches. If you look closly at the Z Locker OEM it starts with four wires at switch side of harness and goes through a small potted box that fools the cumputer and comes out with only two wires into your axle.

Why wouldn’t you just pot them and keep full use of your sensors?

Looking for the best long term solution and not convinced that’s it.
It’s definitely it. Not a single person that I know of has had a sensor fail after potting. Never mind that it’s dirt cheap.

Yeah, I'm kicking myself just a little bit. I kept putting off the sensor potting, and just a few days ago started having issues with the lockers engaging. I have the tazer always plugged in, which allows use of the rear locker in 2h and both in 4h/l. I started getting an error message that it had to be in 4l to engage, followed by locker cancelled. This thread reminded me to get those zautomotive harnesses, which I just ordered a minute ago from Northridge. Fortunately they are in stock, so they'll be on the jeep in a few days. Nearly $350 fee for dragging my feet.
