For those who are putting Rubicon Axles in their non-Rubicon and are shocked by the price of the locker wire harness (I may be a cheap bastard but $90 seems like a lot of money for one connector and a couple wires). I looked all over the interweb for the connector but couldn’t find it. I thought it had to be used in other applications and knew I had seen it before.

Turns out that family of connector is used in the doors for the latch and I have the old harness from the Proximity install. The locker connectors are 805-122-582 and the connector in the door harness is 805-122-581, it’s the same connector that is keyed slightly different. I just had to use the dremel to remove one ridge in the connector.

Other than that, just lengthen the wires and done.

I’ll have to write that down in case I’m ever in need of one. How much was that connector?

Swing Gate Wiring - 68351167AA
This is for the tailgate with Proximity, about $14. I have the old harness out of mine because I added Proximity Locks, I'll have to look at the part number on that harness when I get home.

The non Proximity harness is pn 68351170AA
