Electronic Stability Control Error

2022 JLUR. Driving back from the trail, I got an electronic stability control error. Investigation suggests that the steering wheel position sensor became uncalibrated. I went through a suggested procedure and it hasn't helped anything. Any ideas? The code is C0051-28 (steering wheel position sensor)

How crooked is your steering wheel?

You didn't say what procedure you performed. Have you turned it lock to lock on dirt / gravel?

I did the lock to lock process on gravel. As near as I can tell, the steering wheel is in alignment with the tires.

I had a recent suspension upgrade. I had driven it almost 100 miles when I got the alert while on the highway. Cruise control went off and dash lights came on.
