Electrical Whine Coming From Engine

I'm getting a new noise from my engine, sounds like a jet turbine. The noise varies with engine speed and I cannot hear it in the cabin only if the hood is open.

Could it be the alternator?

Is this a new noise? Are you need to the JL? The electric fan in my 2018 would rev up to “jet engine sound” whenever the A/C was on high. (Which in Florida is almost always)

Yes it's a new noise, no I'm not new to the JL. Radiator fan is not engaged at the time of the video.

I updated the thread title this way it doesn't mislead anyone else.

Confirmed it was the alternator. Disconnected it no noise, connected it back up .... screeching!! Looks like I get to add a new alternator to the list of broken shit on this piece of beautiful trash.
