Electrical Issues

First time post
Dealing with electrical issues for over a month now and have been to two different dealerships.
Started with service engine light. Now a complete glitch of all lights (service stability, shifter, abs, 4wd) and red brake light is on. When this glitch occurs, I lose power steering and if I park and turn engine off, upon restarting cannot get vehicle out of park. Today I sat on the side of the road for almost an hour and was finally able to get it into drive to get it home.

Have your battery(ies) properly load tested.

Make sure all fuses are properly seated. Check battery grounds. Load test your batteries, replace both if even one is bad. If that doesn’t work, maybe a canbus connection issue.

Read the threads I and many others have had. I replaced the Batteries. Did not help. Can Buss blocks behind the glove box. 2 of them. Easy fix. 7mm socket and 20min of your time. It led to me finding the real culprit, power steering pump was bad. And fried the Can Buss.
