Yeah I heard some stuff about not being able to get anything except black, white and silver right now.

I'm OK having a color that most don't.

They are no longer making Earl. That’s what my jeep dealer told me, who is the largest in the country! Also a lot of the add-ons are not available because jeep can’t get the parts… Safety… Advanced safety.
I just ordered an Earl JLR two days ago. Are you serious about the color not available?

If it went through and you are confirmed I wouldnt worry. However it has been said that they can only produce black, white, and grey right now so it might take some time.

My wife is not going to be thrilled about that if it is the case. She loves her JLUR on 37s but we decided to save all the road miles on it for hard trail running. it's no emergency but hope it's not 6 to eight months out.
Appreciate your incite on the matter either way.

Gave my sales guy a call and he did say it was issued a VIN and that it was "D firm schedule serial number assigned". Not real familiar with their terminology. I guess that's better than foogettaaboudit......It's all good, life is good either way. After she gets her new Jeep I will still be working and driving my 2013 JKU with 220,000 happy miles on it and sharing our 2018 JLUR even if it does take 8 months. I Am looking forward to having a 2 door even if it is part time for me.

Maybe not, but the touch up paint is from a company called Crest.
Indeed! I posted the below in the Earl thread a while back after the first ”real life” photos surfaced . . .

However, it was only meant in fun, and I DO need to give mad props to anyone willing to drop that much coin on a color they’ve never seen in person!

I tell you what I was more and more nervous the more pictures I saw as I ordered my JLR sight unseen.

When I went and picked it up Wed I was so happy with the color and the Jeep all around. If it had been as minty as some of the pics we might have not accepted and walked in and ordered a new Punk'n.

Overall really happy with the color and definitely getting compliments on it.

Not sure I'll order another 50k vehicle without actually knowing what it will look like.

Buddy of mine saw two being taken off a truck at a Houston dealership. He said it looked like a light blue silver/gray color. He drives a Granite Chrystal Rubicon and yet he thought the color was killer.
