It’s a fuse that’s only hot when the ignition is on, plus many don’t have heated seats, so it’s available for a lot of people. If you do have heated seats, you can just use a fuse tap so the spot powers both the halos and heated seats
Is this what you did, any issues with the heated seats not working as efficiently?

I have oracles, but yes, used a fuse tap into the passenger heated seat fuse for the halo and have had no issues with the passenger heated seat.

Any updated reviews on these?
I cannot comment as far as comparing them to factory. Other than they look identical cosmetically. The only complaint I have is the slight pause/cutout of light when switching from low to high beam.

I am running diode dynamics pro fogs, and the combo on low beam is amazing. High beam without the fogs is decent, nothing to impressive though.

pretty good deal, especially considering the delay I faced. Not sure if they are still having the same inventory issues on these. If you haven’t done so yet, I would post these in the classifieds section.

I'm still not satisfied with headlights at the moment. I have OEM halogen housings, now with SV4 bulbs. Too many artifacts and bleed above the cutoff which makes for glare to oncoming drivers. Otherwise they provide a lot of light for the driver.

I thank Cohle for posting those pictures of the beam patterns. I see the DV8 seem to have their projectors tilted slightly. The right housing seems to be tilted clockwise, causing the left side of the pattern to rise above the left housing lowbeam cutoff. The left housing seems to be tilted counterclockwise. I'm still seeking perfection.

I've always liked the Bi-Xenon projector setups, coming from a Infiniti G37 w/ those sharp cutoffs it was hard to go through the stock halogens, then a couple cheap LED sets w/ no defined cutoffs.

I just got these, I'll post up a shot of the cutoffs when I get them on. From all I've seen they have a cutoff identical to the Oculus, which have the sharpest that I've seen.

Looks like a set on ebay for $300 (I got mine from Rough Countrys ebay scratch & dent site for $250 and there isn't a mark on them!)

Probably made by the same mfr that makes the Oracle Oculus.

Just got them in and the cutoff is razor sharp, got a bunch of crap in my garage so can't take a good pic now but I'll try later. And yeah, wouldn't be surprised if they're just a few molds away from being the same basic light. FWIW 10x better than anything else I've had in there :) Can't wait to see how well they light up the road at night.

I just picked up the DV8s yesterday. Debating running the DRL to one of the Aux switches. You can program those so it comes on every time the car starts or use the moment button to turn them off. Not sure about the turn signal. Sounds neat..just not sure it's worth it. This thread has been very helpful.

Not sure if this is a new version or not but I just finished an install that took all of 30 minutes or less. There is no ground wire anymore. I assume they figured out how to use the ground wire on the stock plug for headlight, DRL, and turn signal.

I did not take the time to connect the turn signals as I wasn't really interested in having that feature and didn't want to splice in at the turn signal lights. I may research later splicing in the harness elsewhere. For now the black (assume) turn signal cable is coiled up beside the headlights.

-Removed Stock Halogens
-Installed DV8s using stock plug
-Ran Yellow wire to passenger headlight
-Connected both DV8s with "Yellow" connect wire that was included
-Did not use the black naked wire on both headlights (assuming that was turn signal)
-Ran the Grey fused wire to the Orange Aux 3 wire beside battery (for Jeeps with Aux Switches)

I have no delay or flicker when going from low to high beams and back.

I have control of the halos on Aux Switch 3. I have it setup that if I leave the halos on when the Jeep is turned off it will be on the next time I start it (remember last setting)

All in all I'm very pleased. I was running LED bulbs that were horrible. This is a great improvement. I have LEDs in the fender DRLs and LEDs in the fog lamps. They work fine. Now all the lights are the same color.

Quick Update:

I had these out in Sedona for the weekend, wow are they bright! So bright in fact that reflections from street signs when the high beams are on were borderline blinding...

Adjustment is the same as OEM as far as I can tell. Requires a long Phillips screw driver to access them with the hood popped. Clockwise for up, counter clockwise for down.
So, I'm having issues with the passenger light being WAY too low. Can you go into a little more detail about the adjustment? I looked for on-line videos, but no luck as of yet. Thanks in advance for any insight. I will need to flash my computer to get the DRL's to work since I have a Sport model. Other than that, I am very impressed with the product.
