OK folks. I'm refining the dates for this. I've learned that my brother's old gang is planning to be up at Mono Hot Springs near there, between August 9 - 15. Their old habit was to run the Dusi trail during that time. They also had some day trails they'd run during that time. So, my plan is to get up there during that week. It's still a little half baked at this point on logistics. But they are intending to spend some time camping on Dusi at Thompson lake and do some fishing. So, the trail would be a 3 day run minimum.

I'll keep refining the dates, but this is the timeframe I know for now. Also, I'm thinking to go from Dusi up to the Rubicon trail. The Rubicon calendar shows it's pretty busy from July thru the middle of August. We've run Rubicon for the last 3 years just after the big organized runs. So, the Dusi dates above work out for a Rubicon ride about the same as we did last year.

I just got back a few hours ago from a 3,000 mile long six state tour of the NW U.S. Let me sort out my other commitments and get back to you. I'm looking forward to going.

Very possibly interested. I will have just gotten back from the Rubicon but I've been doing 60 hour weeks and 80% travel for the last 5 months so I have no guilt about dropping everything and disappearing for a few days.

I'm going to be in Colorado middle two weeks of August. But scout it out and then let me know how it is so we can do it next year.

Charlie,
I am good with August 9th - 15th. I'll start getting the camping gear and extra fuel capacity together that I know I'll need. I just called RCV this morning and they tell me there are "production delays" on the axle shafts I ordered way back on 4/3/26, and that it will be another 8 weeks before they have them. 🙄 So, I may be using the same old front axle shafts I have been using for the last 4 years. I will continue to take it easy on the skinny pedal. Smooth operator. :)
