After hitting a few trails and enjoying the outdoors, I really wanted a rear tailgate table. Went with AAL Versa table with bamboo and had it color matched by AAL. Pretty close as Snazzberry Pearl is difficult…

After a few nights opening the hood and fumbling with a flashlight or trouble light, I decided to add some KC Cyclone LED lights. I mounted these also with Click Bond gimbal studs allowing me to adjust/aim them how I wanted. And again, no holes or welding.

Upgraded the OEM speakers in the dash and overhead sound bar with Kenwood KFC-X3C. Cleaned up the mid/high range significantly…

After a couple of trails and long drives, decided a dead pedal was ’necessary’. Quadratec simple install! Heard horror stories about the difficulty on some brands.

Also in view is the Demco Stay n Play Duo braking system on the brake pedal. I had this professionally installed.

The main unit is tucked down below just inside the wheel well with a custom fabricated bracket…

In my quest to rdeuce the number and clashing of colors on the exterior and make for a more clean design while adding light I installed Diode Dynamics side marker lights.

Time for some more interior bling. Installed Agency 6 billet aluminum freedom panel locks. Very nice quality!

Also replaced the hardtop screws with Rockworkx aluminum D rings that don’t require any tools to remove and double as places to hook onto to secure items in the back.

Another of my favorite mods is my ARB twin compressor along with the Epic Kraken tire inflation system! This goes under the pax seat and supplies air to all four tires at the same time.

After running a couple of BOH trails and realize I want to do more rock crawling I added a Clayton Overland lift, Fox 2.0 shocks, and 315-70/17 BFG KO2 tires on Icon Rebound Pro wheels. So very happy with this set up! Recent trip to Moab proved it out tackling three more BOH trails; Fins n Things, Hell’s Revenge, and Top of the World.

Here are a few pics testing it out locally before the journey to Jeep Mecca.

Oops while I pretty much tried to post in chronological order, I forgot a few things. Swapped out the OEM tail lights with Oracle flush mounted. No more worts to get picked off on a woody trail and oh boy the reverse lights are so much brighter making your rear cam much more effective at night.

Only downside is they are not very effective if you have Blind Spot Monitoring. I have never had it before and don’t rely on it anyways.

As a result of the wheel/tire mod, I got more poke. I like the looks, the wider stance for stability but decided to go ahead and add the XR fender flare extension….

Belly armor? Absolutely… added the Artec aluminum underbelly kit. Three things I love about the design.

1. Lightweight… only adds 16lbs to the build since you remove the OEM steel rail protection.
   
   
2. The bolts are all recessed creating a smooth surface where nothing can catch.
   
   
3. Becuase you remove the OEM structure, you actually gain 3/4in additional clearance.

Okay one more mod that some laugh about but I think it is pretty cool. Yep, the ice scraper inside your fuel tank door!

Going forward I have a few more mods that I am still mulling over. Mainly the rear bumper and hinge gate reinforcement.

After going ‘under the hood’ a few times, I realized the prop was 19th century. Do yourself a favor and get these struts…. ‘Redline tuning’.
