Nice move Ted and Mrs. Ted!!! I would drop everything I was doing to see my kids also. A big thank you and salute to your son for his service. We would not be able to do what we love to do without those willing to put their ass on the line for the rest of us! Happy to see you are both out there enjoying the Jeep and camper. Have fun and be safe. ? Talk to you again soon.we had to turn around. We were about 350 miles north of the Washington/Canadian border on our way to Alaska, when our son called us. He just got home from being deployed for 9 months in April. We had not seen him in about 14 or 15 months. He said that he got new orders and if we wanted to see him, that he would be able to see us April 18th to August 10. Then he would be in 6 different states for training and then deployed to the Middle East and would not be home until late summer or early fall of 2023.
We turned the Jeep around and headed home. Got to Fayetteville on Thursday. Both of our sons live in Fayetteville North Carolina. We plan to be here for four plus weeks.
Our son spends a lot of time out of country. There is no way we are not going to see him before he heads back into the Middle East.
