Those look like the.points where the plasma torch pierced the metal. The initial piercing creates a hole slightly larger than the cut line made when the torch is traveling. An experienced person would start the cut slightly inside the hole and then trace the hole. But this means setting up each cut individually, instead of letting the program always cut left on start.
As in start at the red dot and then follow the white line...

Those are a cool design.
Yeah the guy was explaining how the plasma works. He said he can flip the sheet around and start from the bottom so that the nice side will show on the driver side panel. It's going to be another 2 weeks for him to make, sand and ship out a new one to me.

I had a door pocket thread going, I was hoping to hear back from the gentlemen that purchased these. 👇

If this is me, mine are still currently sitting on my work table 😩 I doubt it will take that long, but I've had some busy weekends and it's been too cold...unfortunately I don't have a space to work except my parking lot

I completely understand my friend. No rush.

I don't use my pockets anyway and if anything I'd put something on the molle panel part. Or maybe could put a park map in there.

They just arrived and have a bit of an issue. The guy cut them in the same direction on the machine. So that means when you flip one around it's the "bad side" that shows all the imperfections. Like one side is clearly the front but you have to flip it around to install on driver side. Kind of a bummer.

It may just be the perfectionist in me but I would have flipped the image for one side so that the side you see is the side that the machine is cutting from.

I'm pretty OCD, but even if I wasn't, I'd be sending that back ASAP. For the prices these things go for, I'd expect better workmanship. Just looks sloppy.

Ha isn't this your thread I've taken over? Those look nice. I just don't know what I would put in there. I've only ever used my door pockets as a temp place to throw a National Park map when it was handed to me.

I thought these custom ones were nice because I could do whatever design I wanted and the molle panel could be useful someday for something maybe.
I just put these on today after trying them out for a couple days. They don't hold much. My old nets held gloves and a headlamp. The headlamp fits, but not the gloves. But I was able to move some cables (headlamp charging cable), small handheld radio, and a couple pens to the front pocket. I like it, no intrusion on my leg.

I have the gloves in the holder for the back door. Works out. The back door net held a gallon size ziploc of ducks, need to find a place for them, like on other people's Jeeps. :)

Really just need a "bag" that fits in there, like the door pocket of an old cutlass. :)

Those look pretty nice if they didn't have "DV8" right in the middle of them. 😕
I know, right! And I'm still concerned they might hit the seat. 🫤

Agree....especially given the hefty price of these things. I feel that if we're advertising for all these aftermarket companies, they should be giving us a discount!

I’d rather just not advertise for them after paying anything. Now free? Sure, slap a logo on there and ask me to take pictures and write a review.
