Actually after watching this video since my nets aren't sagging I'm not sure I would need to remove the nets. Ohh, I don't know........

I know I've seen better videos on how to do it, but this is the best thing I can find at the moment. Net removal starts at 2:11:

Net Replacement Video

I think the guy makes it look harder than it really is, but you get the idea. Would love to see a better video if someone can find one.
Here's a video of someone cutting out the door nets.

...if the old nets (with wire retainers) can be removed, then many of the Amazon pockets might be OK.
The OEM door nets can be removed, as noted below, to allow a cleaner installation and more practical functioning of the door pockets that otherwise allow the nets to remain in situ. That's an option for the motivated owner, insomuch that he'd pay considerably less than the two C-notes that Unoff Use Only charges.

Do you have a good link on easily removing the net?
The conventional wisdom is that there's two ways:

1. Removing the door panels and drilling out the net's mounting points from the interior side of each panel. Done carefully, this method is non-destructive and retains the net's integrity for possible DIY reinstallation later on. There's an instructional video illustrating this method elsewhere in this thread.

2. Cutting the net elastic flush with/on the front of the door panel. The easy and permanent method. See the video in the preceding post.

Agree 100%. I find it odd that most of the offerings on Amazon show installation of new door pockets over the OEM nets. Not only does this look terrible, but I'm sure it would impede the utility of the new pockets as well. As such, I'm wondering if these new pockets actually require the old nets to be installed, or perhaps just the wire retainer that holds the nets in the door. If this is true, then they are a poor design IMHO. However, if the old nets (with wire retainers) can be removed, then many of the Amazon pockets might be OK.

If this is the case, I don't know why anyone would keep the old nets installed or only cut the exposed netting material. It's actually easier and more thorough to just pull the entire assembly out, retainer and all. Has anyone done this with these replacement pockets?

MEAUTELE Door Pockets
I just received and installed mine. A very quick and simple install job. I left the nets in place because they make a nice slim place to slip your mail and other things behind them. It’s not like you would gain much room by removing them. The only significant storage is in the expanded storage area in front of the panel. Either way, they are less than 5 minutes to put on or off. You can try them with the nets, and easily remove them if you don’t like it. They seem pretty sturdy. Yes it does make it a little tight to adjust the seat height while the door is closed, but I can do it. This is irrelevant to me because I adjust my seat when the door is open before I drive away, not while driving. Yes, my leg does rest against the front pocket bulge, but it’s not uncomfortable. I’ll see after putting some time in driving if this is an issue. I like that these add utility while not changing OEM.

Many thanks for showing us your installation. Looks great! I personally wouldn't keep the nets, but to each his/her own. Unfortunately, I don't think I can use these pockets anyway, because I usually park my manual seat all the way forward. Based on what others posted in this thread, the expanded portion of the pocket prevents the seat from moving all the way forward, so it's not going to work for me. Hope you enjoy those door pockets and happy Jeepin'!

Thanks. They work for me and my seat is always all the way to the rear. I drove it for over an hour today and while my shin rests against the bulge, I actually find it a nice place to rest my leg. I think I’m going to like it, and if I decide otherwise, 2 screws and it’s off.

My new molle panel door pockets should be arriving hopefully within the next week or two. I'm trying to decide what to attach to it and looking for suggestions.

I already have 3 flashlights mounted in the Jeep. I was thinking maybe some sort of holder for pens or maybe some velcro to hold patches. Anyone have any other ideas?

Probably move your Hilift jack from the drivers side fender to the drivers side door Molle panel…you know to protect it from the elements. Sorry as usual I have nothing useful to add.

It is getting a bit rusty. I think I'm supposed to oil it?

IDs/parking & other passes, a comb, spare charger cable, wrapped plastic utensils, scissors and/or knife.

I'm not much help. I don't keep much in my Jeep. But I have run into enough situations (I have kids) to now keep an extra fork and knife in my glovebox. lol

Well I still haven't figured out what I'm attaching but I did get a notice that my door panel pockets have shipped! I'll have to paint them when they arrive and I'm hoping to install them next week.

Here's a preview I was sent before they got sanded and shipped. The guy who made them said they look awesome in person so I can't wait to see them.

Are the new door pockets intended to be decorative only? Just curious.
There's a lot of perforations in that design, meaning lots of openings for stuff to fall out.

I don't use my pockets anyway and if anything I'd put something on the molle panel part. Or maybe could put a park map in there.

They just arrived and have a bit of an issue. The guy cut them in the same direction on the machine. So that means when you flip one around it's the "bad side" that shows all the imperfections. Like one side is clearly the front but you have to flip it around to install on driver side. Kind of a bummer.

It may just be the perfectionist in me but I would have flipped the image for one side so that the side you see is the side that the machine is cutting from.
