Sorry bud..unfortunately not today. I put on my winch mounting plate and winch and right after I decided to put the Atlas door steps on(since it should've been a quick install). **Note: Don't use cheap Duralast T50 Torx bits. They'll warp and twist.** I didn't even get one of the OE hinge bolts off. I tried the supplied T50 in the Jeep kit but I didn't have much leverage with it. So the winch was enough for me to tackle today. I'm going to knock it out tomorrow for sure. I have to buy a better set of bits. I'll post pics of the OE bolts and the Smittybilt replacement bolts for reference.Any luck?

And I asked as you were mentioning it. LolNice!! It looks like you used the bolts that were included with the step. The length wasn’t a problem? I guess that may be a bit obvious as you have them on but wondering. What were the torq specs for the bolts?
Haha yup 24lbs. Once you take the hinge off, there actually a bracket on the inside thats holding in the bolts so even if they're longer bolts it'll be okay. I'll try to snap a photo of them when I redo them. I'm going to run to home depot and see if I can put a piece of metal in between the door and the doorstep bracket right between the two mounting bolts. I'm thinking if it fills that gap I'll be able to tighten the rest down without the outer edges bending. Maybe like a 1 1/4" by 1/2 inch piece of metal. I'll reply back if I have any luck. And I asked as you were mentioning it. Lol
OMG! my steps came in today too. here I am outside discovering exactly the same thing you just did at the same time. luckily I came in for supper and saw these posts just now
They help with loading and unloading from your roof. I can't speak for Yokin but I kayak and these are a huge help when loading my 'yak. That way you aren't trying to balance on your door sill. Much more stability. Oh, and it looks cool. What are these used for? Why would you want a step on the door hinge? Someone please splain me.
