Anyone know why my dome light blinks when I open the door and it does not stay on? Just a quick flash and then dark

My guess would be the Door Ajar switch, or its actuator, in the door latch mechanism is out of adjustment. Here is a post that might shed a little light.

A thought, is it just one door? If yes, Door Ajar sensor, but first check door to body connection. If it's both doors, something amiss in the body wiring harness - likely another connector.

Do you have the dash light roller on or near the bottom? On some models, that can keep the dome lights from illuminating then the doors are opened.
