Picked up new JL Rubicon today. Took my son for a nighttime ride with t-tops removed.
Unless we completely dimmed the instrument panel to lowest setting, which is too dim, the dome light would stay on. As soon as I adjusted instrument lights from most dim to brighter setting, the dome light came on, instead of coming on after brightest setting was achieved.
But this same scenario does not exist when t-tops are installed. When t-tops are installed, you can adjust the instrument brightness from dim to bright to brightest. Dome light only comes on when pass brightest instrument setting.
Any suggestions?
