If not for having unconditional love for my Jeep I couldn’t stand it. It is so demanding of attention, always wanting new toys. Causing anxiety, hard choices, indecision, mistakes, do overs, money wasted, and still demanding more. Well- here we go again- wants perfectly good wheels replaced with new high dollar ones that will also require flare extensions and an adjustable spare carrier that would be the 3’rd relocation. I can either yield to the demand or pay the Property Taxes, without using a high interest card, not both. My Jeep ? spoiled brat !

Yes, the yellow one is hers. She loves getting ducked. It makes her so happy. Hers has been ducked in the drive way and she’s tickled every time. It’s part of her joy.

Seems like it's just one negative story after another, some jeeps have problems, it's very frustrating I get it! I'm certainly not rubbing it in to those who are. At this time, I'm not having any problems and I really & truly hope it stays that way. Right now, I'm just enjoying my Jeep. On road, off-road, after market accessories, it's a blast to drive around.

Is anyone else having good luck and enjoying their Jeep?

I've got 6K on my 24 392, have had only a small software glitch, no other problems. Am extremely happy with it. Fit and finish is great, very quiet, tons of power and makes my old Bronco look like a toy. Unfortunately the V8 won't likely be around much longer, tho I may buy one more in whatever their last year is.

now wearing rags, counting available cash for all purchases, depleted checking easy to add up, savings not worth looking at, although my 392’d pants still fit, my wallet is just as thick- cash replaced with gas cards. Yep, still worth it ?

I used to absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my Jeep when it was stock. A '22 JLUR, in a beautiful blue, it drove like a sports car, it was pretty quick with that 4 banger and a turbo, I LOVED IT!

Then I started modifying it. Now, I don't scrape anymore in Moab but it's a beast to drive. I don't love it as much as I used to. I just installed an expensive adjustable steering stabilizer and it's removed the bad shimmy in my steering wheel when I hit bumps but I'm certain it's still not done.

I bought the Jeep because it already had 11 inches of ground clearance, 33s, lockers, I didn't need to do anything to it! If I bought the 4Runner, I'd have to spend thousands of dollars lifting it, putting new wheels on it, etc. So I spent more and got the Jeep.

Well, $10k later, I'm still not done. I need another $10k into it and THEN I will be done with the major modifications... unless I also want larger brakes, then whatever that cost is on top of the $10k additional.

The dealership has tire special events. As long as we sign a waiver we are spotted to drive completely over the cars. It’s pretty neat.

Why didn’t you give me that good advice Before I Just Spend $3K on exhaust and a Tazer. …… but I was able to justify the expense, Black Friday AWE sale covered 3/4 of the Tazer. I’ve become an expert at rationalizing my addiction.

After market. I ordered the jeep with cloth seats.
Alea Leather. Personally better than Katzskin.
$1800 for the seats front and rear, including labor.
$100 for center arm rest.
$250 for stitch matched adjust pulls, and shift boots.
$400 for carbon fiber rear heated seats.
they didn’t charge me to color stitch in the Rubicon.

I won't call it the best "investment" I've ever made or the smartest for that matter. I haven't had the chance to drive as much as I'd hoped (barely over 6k miles) But 1 year, 2 months into ownership, I still smile each time I climb in ?
