I’m working with a Sport S. I have added All mopar led lights. Is it possible to set my tazer DRL Location to BOTH dedicated and tail? The factory DRL behavior does not include the led tail light ring and I would like for this to turn on with the other dedicated DRLs.

The tazer doesn't currently have the programming to allow more than one choice at a time. I'm also a firm believer in being as easily noticeable as possible on public roads. That's caused me to develop the habit of always turning my running lights on, regardless of day or night. Not only does that light up the taillight ring, but also the rear side markers and the use of the fog lights for more forward attention grabbing.

On my daily commute (when I worked ;) ) I noticed people would routinely cut me off or pull out in front of me, causing me to brake hard, in my very large white 2014 GMC crewcab, with the LED DRLs (retrofit) burning. I started running with the LED foglights and headlights and it definitely reduced that.

Just turn your parking lights on. I haven't seen a setting to light the rear lamps for DRL functions.

Ya, I used JScan to make my while fender DRLs orange. It's a lot more noticible on the road for sure. Can't do it with the AAL chop lights thought but I think it can be done with the Quake ones.

Great idea. Further, I noticed that yellow foglights really stand out.

This is good info. I wonder if they’d ever add this ability. I figure they could do it by separating the lights selections out. Seems like well within the capability of tazer and consistent with their features.

Yeah, same observation here. I don't seem to get turned into by those who don't pay enough attention to what's next to them, after realizing that the Jeeps fogs can be used without the headlamps. Furthermore, after adding the LP4's on the front bumper with the backlights wired to the running circuit. The roadways are filling up with more and more Helen Kellers nowadays.

I'm not sure about that one either. Never tried changing it from dedicated to turns, because my bumper lights give a good splash of amber to go with the white.

I did see a few Jeeps during the Jeep Invasion that were set up with their turns dubbing as drl's. It did look real good.

How did you make your inner halos so bright? Mine are much dimmer.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to segregate the rear halo from the rest of the running lights. Also, there's different front fender harnesses between Jeeps built with halogens vs let's. I'm thinking that forming the habit of turning the running lights on before take off is your best bet. After 4+ years on this forum, I believe you are the 1st person to ever question having the rear halos looped to the DRLs. It may never be added to the tazer programming until a bunch of people make enough noise for it.

I haven't done anything to the factory halos. Its just the camera adjusting to the lower ambient lighting in that parking garage. I think being in the path of the light only helps to amplify that affect.

Here's a recent pic taken with the sun on my back, and an older shot that makes the halos look bright enough to think the headlamps were also on, which they weren't..
