Just got my brand new 23 Rubicon 4xe with dual tops and switched to the soft top for the rest of the summer/fall. When I took off the top, the screw holes were left undercovered. Should I put the screws back in or is there another product to cap off those holes or just leave them exposed? Seems like someone would make a little screw and plastic top to fill them.

I've never heard this one before. All Jeeps (whether they come with hard or soft tops) have those mounting holes. They are typically left uncovered. I usually buy Jeeps with just the soft top and it has never occurred to me to cover the holes. My daughter has a dual top JK and doesn't cover them. In fact, Jeep provides a spot in the back to hold the hardware. Having said that, you do you. If they bother you, I'm sure someone would be glad to take your money for some sort of product to "solve" the "problem".

Why do you feel the need to fill them? Are you planning to get into so much mud/dirt that it will come over the sides and clog them? I wheel with mine uncovered, including the Rubicon Trail, without getting anything into the screw holes besides a little dust that I can blow out with my air compressor.

Almost everyone leaves them open and the engineers concur, as evidenced by the holes in the jack bin cover specifically made to store unused hard top bolts. But if it really bothers you there's no law that you can't put a bolt back there. Do what you want.

hard top off =screws out and safely stored
hard top on= screws in place holding top on

never even thought about having something to fill the holes when the top is off

I'll most likely place the hardware back in the hole it was taken out of, IF I ever take the hard top off.

I put my thumb screw bolts back in so I can hook my cargo net over items I carry in the back of the two door.

I put them back in, but I also have anchor d rings they slide through so I can tie stuff down.
