Filling hardtop holes

What’s the best way to fill in holes on the hard top. I recently removed a roof rack and i have 8 holes. I siliconed some rubber stoppers from the hardware store but wondering if there is a better way to seal them.

I would think your solution would suffice...plus it allows you or a future owner to reuse the holes. A more permanent solution might involve using black epoxy to fill the holes (tape underneath and fill the hole on top, being careful not to create a mess). I would not mess with it.
