What other kind of Jack I could carry with me? Storage is so limited in my little two-door
Figure out a way to put it back off your tailgate or up high in your cargo area. Personally, if I had one it would be up high and inside and out of the way. You will use it rarely hopefully.

Mohammad, you could get a Skid Mark and mount it there. Just keep in mind it will slightly decrease your departure angle.

The Skid Mark is a hitch-mounted rear bumper skid plate.

Thanks a ton. And I will get to keep my hi-lift jack because I am broke 😄

This is going the ruffle the feathers of some pavement princesses here, but...

High-lift jacks are just plain cringeworthy. I've seen very, very few instances of them actually being needed.

A factory jack (or decent bottle jack) and a platform will perform a lot better and doesn't require the installation of an expensive hood ornament.

Good numbers for optimal conditions.

Take it to Moab on a 95 degree day and let us know how things look while playing on the trails.

You are going to take that beautiful Jeep to Moab, aren't you?

40 minutes of driving on the highway, 50-70 mph, 48 degrees outside. 3.6L, 8 speed, 4.88 and 37s. And 0w30 oil.
Thank you!

Numbers look good. Note oil temperature should match the coolant temperature for normal driving. Think about it for a reason. If they are off by 10 degrees or so time to investigate.

Not saying that you don't know how to use one. Most people that mount a High Lift for display don't have bumpers that allow it's proper use, and have no idea how to use one. In unskilled hands they are ineffective at best, and dangerous at worst.

There are good videos online that show the proper uses for a High Lift. I've found that the best use for them is when doing fence work.

The best mounts for them I've seen bolt to the tailgate hinges. There are several different ones if you do a search for them.
