I am designing a tailgate accessory for JL models. I've been able to take detailed measurements from a friend's JL, but I'm wondering if those dimensions are the same from one JL model/trim to another?

Any help from engineers / JL enthusiasts / outright crazies would be appreciated!

The only differences are that some have a key lock and some don't. Models with 33” and larger tires have a different spare tire mount than those with 32” and smaller tires. All actual tailgates have the same dimensions.

Thank you, Joe—super helpful. I don't think that the different spare tire mounts would be a problem, since I'm mainly concerned with the factory mounting points that are found on the inside of swing-gate, including those that sit behind the plastic panel.

I'm basically trying to confirm my assumption that those mount points would be the same form one JL model & trim to another. Seems like that was the gist of your reply. Thanks again.
